Broncos at Oak Forest - 1st game of the season

The Broncos traveled to Oak Forest HS on 159th and Central for our 1st and only pre-season game. We lost 42-14 but were happy to see good effort from the team. Special teams need some work and is on the agenda for next week. We will be watching game tape on Monday in hopes of learning from our mistakes as well as recognizing what we did well! Coach Chick of Simeon HS (right) and Coach Yates of Julian HS, revered public league power houses and perennial state contenders took time to mentor the younger coaches at Camp Shaw. I will never forget the experience and I hope to never forget some of the stuff they taught me!

Kari's 8th grade reunion at St. Mary Nativity

17 folks from the 1986 graduating class of St. Mary Nativity Grade School in Joliet, IL. Spear headed by Karole Lakota and Tony and Jody Lakota the reunion started with 4pm mass, followed with a tour of the school, and then dinner at the Moran Athletic Club. Graduates and spouses all had a great time reminiscing on the good ol days! See more pics here.
